Are You Sweet and Tangy?

For better or worse, I have a terrible sweet tooth, and while I’m pretty good about eating healthy, I never turn down dessert. That gets me into trouble, particularly since I run after Z and T all day, and tend to stay up way too late, and even if I’ve already had dessert, at various times throughout the day, I always seem to think it’s the perfect time for more.

This thought process is, obviously, a recipe for disaster.

You want to know what's sweet and tangy, rediculously chewy, exotically delicious AND good for you?!

Pineapple is one of the few fruits my picky 3 year old will eat.

But yikes. Jerky is pricey. Then again, I would be ashamed to admit how much fruit gets thrown out around here because we let it go too long, and a fresh pineapple goes for $4.

Makes me want to try out the drying feature on my fancy new oven, though.

I'm a chocoholic. Literally, I have to have it at least once a day. And even sometimes with certain meals. I'm pathetic!

I am neither sweet nor tangy. Today, in fact, I'm sour and dull. Which makes for really lame jerky.
