The year Zip was born, Tizzy was so devestated by the whole experience that come Easter, he just needed a big hug. When we went for "Breakfast with the Bunny," he got that hug and he just kept on hugging – and hugging – until finally we had to pry him off so the poor rabbit could hide some eggs.Three years have passed, and he's recovered, but that doesn't mean he'll pass on an egg hunt. Here he is assessing the situation.
Zip's strategy is more hunt first –
These days, T's a bit more reserved, but then, who can pass up a shake with the bunny?

Zip looks so tall!
We went to an egg hunt this past Saturday, and I was surprised that my normally reticent son shook hands and gave high fives to a seven-foot-tall bunny.
Ha!
He is tall.
Tizzy's getting a complex because people keep telling me they look like twins. (Guess it doesn't help on the days they're wearing matching sweat shirts.) T thinks that he is short.
I tell him that it's not that he's short, it's just that Zip's REALLY big.
They take after opposite sides of the family.
My kids have not met the Easter bunny yet but I tell you that they will run in fear b/c that is what they did with Santa.
Cherish this time! It hops away quickly.
LOVE those pictures. Sweet, sweet kids.
So sweet! Although the Easter Bunny's Lee Press On Nails are kind of freaking me out!!
So adorable! My boys have never been one to take the moment to greet the Easter bunny if all they can see is that candy out there waiting to be claimed beforehand (and eaten afterward)!
That is so cute!!!
I was an Easter fanatic when I was a kid. I think it was all about the hunt for me. My parents even made me scavenger hunts for my Christmas and birthday gifts because I loved searching so much!
My kids were always traumatized by the bunny!!!
Now they just want the "loot". And when I say Loot I mean money.
What a fun post! Love your photos, especially of Zip and Tizzy in various hilarious disguises...boxes, traffic cones, etc....SO creative. Just makes me laugh and Lord knows you can't get too much of that!
Thank you!
Cynthia
Bella was terrified of the bunny's large teeth. Jack just wanted to know what was in it for him. Juliette has never seen a bunny. We'll see what everyone thinks this year!
Yikes, I'm remembering I still have to take my kids to see the bunny. Cute pictures!
