If the weather were any indication you'd think it was mid fall.
It's been chilly and overcast, but tonight I sat down with a bowl of fresh nectarines and blueberries covered in vanilla yogurt and toasted almonds. The fruit is fresh and OH so sweet, NOT from Chile.
So, weather or not, I know it must be summer.

That sounds mouthwatering good!
We have our beach chairs arranged in a circle around the strawberry plants, waiting for another to ripen. It is worth the wait.
I totally hear you but I on the other hand love this weather. I love the crispness of it and I am not really looking forward to the 80 degree days. But the fruit and veggies, LOVE it.
Exactly! It's been a delight to leave the windows open 24/7 and take in the fantastic fresh air and random overcast skies that make it seem like early fall. Scooch over and I'll share my delicious bowl of strawberries and grapes with yogurt dipping sauce!
I'm waiting....pick your own strawberries are very late this year.
I'm crying for summer! That helped a little bit.
I'll take chilly and overcast over this heat any day. I'm having remote start installed in my car this week since my poor kids have been baking every time we get in the car. It's insane.
uummmmmm, I think now everything up here is from California. Hey, just doing my part to support your economy there in the states.
