I'm Sure This is Logic

Tizzy: Can you take my shoes and socks off?

Me: O.K. but what are you going to wear instead?

Tizzy: My boots.

Me: Don't you want your socks then?

Tizzy: No! My boots have mud in them! I don't want my socks to be covered in mud!!

Smart kid, that one.

We went down to the river on Monday and my son got some mud in his crocs almost immediately and then refused to keep them on. The rest of the trip was spent with incessant checking to see if the mud had dried yet. C'mon, buddy! Live a little.

There's a certain kind of sense to that.

Well, yeah, nothing worse than muddy socks! Muddy feet, on the other hand, are super!

Oh yes. That definitely sounds like kid logic.

Makes perfect sense!

Obviously his boots are for protecting his feet and not for keeping them dry!

A very caring child to be concerned about you having to wash muddy socks.

I think it's like when you go to the beach and get sand in your shoes... terrible, but walking in sand isn't so bad itself.

Muddy socks are no good. No good at all.

Also my word verification is 'NoRest' ... um, yeah.
