Thanks!

Tizzy: Hey Mom? What are you thankful for?

Me: (Typical mom answer...) My boys who make me so happy every day, who make me laugh and smile and are such wonderful Zip 'n' Tizzy's, (When they're not making me bonkers... and even then.) What are you thankful for?

Tizzy: Grass!

Me: Grass? Why are you're thankful for grass?

Tizzy: I like to run on grass, and play on grass, and roll around in the grass, lay down and rest on the grass. Yep. I'm thankful for grass!

Me: O.K. – Zip, what are you thankful for?

Zip: (Looking down at his taco) Spice.

Me: Spice?

Zip: Yeah. It makes me want to eat my taco.

So, I'm still peeling paint, plus a little bit of sanding. I'm hoping, that by some Thanksgiving Miracle I will paint this weekend, but, if I don't I'm thankful that I have family with a sense of humor who will look the other way if we have to curtain off the kitchen and eat off the living room floor. I'm thankful that this is the extent of my concerns and that, as of writing this, my family is healthy and strong, and I'm thankful for finding you, my virtual and real life friends who story swap in this virtual water cooler. It's been a great year! Thanks for all of your sharing!

Happy Holidays to you all!

What are you Thankful for?

Grass and spice are two very good things. And now I also want a taco.

Even with all the financial stress we have going on right now, I'm thankful that I can still say, "We are lucky."

Zip and Tizzy are smart. I like grass and tacos.

Sugarplum almost always says "you" because she knows where her bread is buttered.

Studley is grateful for aliens.

I'm thankful for my "babies" and my hubby and friends (both flesh & blood and "virtual") and so many other things...even "spice!"

Best wishes on the completion of your kitchen project!

Grass is very underrated. But we spend so much time taking care of it, we should be thankful for it.

I'm thankful for butter... that makes the mashed potatoes so good. And pretty much everything else.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am truly thankful for most of all my family, but blogging has been a true blessing this year.
